Gilbert O''Sullivan（吉伯特欧苏利文），是曾经在1970年代备受推崇的创作歌手。他来自爱尔兰，后来前往英国的艺术学校就读，主修平面设计，学生时代开始创作歌曲，努力的把作品寄给各大唱片公司，但始终没有受到注意，直到汤姆琼斯（Tom Jones）的经纪人戈登密尔斯（Gordon Mills）听到了他的录音带后把他签到旗下。 除了作品中随处可见的典雅风格外，他在嬉皮运动全盛时期独树一格的干净造型，令他与众不同。可惜的是，由于他拒绝向流行低头，加上经纪人剥削他的收入所引起的纠纷，他走红的时间并没有持续太久。
他的作品往往充满真挚的感情，虽然多半是杜撰的，不过出色的表现技巧，经常使得这些歌曲非常具有说服力。一首Beatles风格的"AloneAgainNaturally)"于1971年登上了英国排行榜的首位，也让大家记住了这位模仿Beatles模仿得很好的音乐人.
